Figured I'd ask you this'n, seeing as you're a chemist type person...
Do you know any way to measure or monitor the ionization flow within the electrolyte of a lead-acid battery? Or not necessarily the flow, but the state of it? We're basically trying to find a way to monitor the cell itself, if we can, to be able to tell if a battery is charging, without having to measure current coming in or out.
Got any chemical know-how love for me here?
