First, i agree 100% about that some persons shouldn't play this game. The games theme makes it very sensitive too, so they probably never should created it from the beginning.
But.......
Let me put it this way Larry. For such person it's enough to read a newspaper or watching the news. The world is full of violence, we see lots of it every day. What's worse is, it's for real, and a good inspiration for persons to commit similar acts. Some persons even admire real violence, it's not "cool enough" with a computer game or movie, it has to be real. Most violence in our society is not because of any movie or computergame, it's people who want to fight or commit crimes, or dealing with drugs. Alcohol is a big factor for exemple. If one person goes amok and kill a lot of people, it's a big chance that we will see it again, by someone else.
My conclusion is, most violence is because of mean people who want to hurt someone OR use some drugs that makes them violent. Many time it's psychological problems from the childhood that makes them violent and we can never protect us from those people. Anytime, anywhere we can be attacked by one of those violent people. We can also never protect those people to read, watch or listen to something that inspires them to violent actions, not a single chance. The only thing they may need is a "guru" on their own street.
Another thing is cultural differences between people that creates lots of violence. I'm sure we can find plenty of sources to violence.
When i play a violent computer game, i laugh and laugh. Why? It has nothing to do with reality and it's very often extremly overdone to make it look silly and funny. I hate real violence, but i can enjoy a computergame with lots of it, because it's not the same thing. No one ever gets hurt, it's only polygon people. The problem is when you connect it with real violence. I think people who complain over a videogame should learn how to separate a videogame from real life.
But that's off course my personal opinion. I respect if people see things different then me.
(excuse any spelling errors, i didn't had time to check it)
