Most flash games is quite easy. Often one firebutton and the four arrow keys. Sometimes you use the mouse to stear. Most flash game are quite easy to play and you can always change skill level if you think it's to hard.

Anyway, I feel a bit difficult seeing myself doing that...it's more like one of those male things for me. You know, like chess - no woman would EVER have time to sit down for hours and hours and play it. :)

When i was played computergames in the beginning, it was very much so. But novadays even grandma seems to play some sort of videogame. But, again, in the big whole, you are right. Most videogamers are males.

Probably. Some things are mostly for males, others mostly for females. And it's always gonna be that way, i guess. But that's also one of the best things about being different. Variation.

AND YOU THOUGHT THAT PASTOR PHELPS WAS CRAZY?

Children kill U.N. peacekeepers in a Christian videogame, based upon the Left Behind novels that are so popular with Fundamentalists in the U.S. This violent 'entertainment' encourages impressionable boys to become Christian jihadis when some Western ayatollah tells them that the 'End Times' have come. The problem isn't the video game, the problem is the people who can't see what's reality or not. Those people shouldn't be aloud to play or watch anything, and certanly not to read any books. Those people are dangerous with or without any videogame. I have said it before and i say it again, you must be able to see the difference between fantasy and reality, that's two completly different things. the videogame doesn't kill people, people does. A knife can be to great help, but it can also be very dangerous in the wrong hands.

I agree Larry, you will find loonies everywhere, we have seen several exemples of real loonies in Sweden this summer. People who kill the whole family, people who rape and murder, people who are necrophiles..........

You don't need a single videogame or movie to find loonies everywhere.

You will also find people who always try to earn cash by releasing trash games. ;)

I agree. But what about the people who are on the margin, who cycle in and out of reality? When such a person receives a nudge in the wrong direction at the wrong time, the result can be very sad for everyone. A motorcycle racing videogame, for example, is a much smaller nudge than a videogame fantasy about killing people who have the 'wrong' religious beliefs.

I am often skeptical when the government steps in to protect us from ourselves. Fortunately there is appropriate action that we citizens of the world can take on our own: Exercise the fine art of complaining! Sunshine is a good thing.

First, i agree 100% about that some persons shouldn't play this game. The games theme makes it very sensitive too, so they probably never should created it from the beginning.

But.......

Let me put it this way Larry. For such person it's enough to read a newspaper or watching the news. The world is full of violence, we see lots of it every day. What's worse is, it's for real, and a good inspiration for persons to commit similar acts. Some persons even admire real violence, it's not "cool enough" with a computer game or movie, it has to be real. Most violence in our society is not because of any movie or computergame, it's people who want to fight or commit crimes, or dealing with drugs. Alcohol is a big factor for exemple. If one person goes amok and kill a lot of people, it's a big chance that we will see it again, by someone else.

My conclusion is, most violence is because of mean people who want to hurt someone OR use some drugs that makes them violent. Many time it's psychological problems from the childhood that makes them violent and we can never protect us from those people. Anytime, anywhere we can be attacked by one of those violent people. We can also never protect those people to read, watch or listen to something that inspires them to violent actions, not a single chance. The only thing they may need is a "guru" on their own street.

Another thing is cultural differences between people that creates lots of violence. I'm sure we can find plenty of sources to violence.

When i play a violent computer game, i laugh and laugh. Why? It has nothing to do with reality and it's very often extremly overdone to make it look silly and funny. I hate real violence, but i can enjoy a computergame with lots of it, because it's not the same thing. No one ever gets hurt, it's only polygon people. The problem is when you connect it with real violence. I think people who complain over a videogame should learn how to separate a videogame from real life.

But that's off course my personal opinion. I respect if people see things different then me.

(excuse any spelling errors, i didn't had time to check it)

:)
